  • Analyzing and developing an understanding of the history of the customer and the associated persons.
  • Determination of beneficial owners and review of complex corporate structures
  • Review of newly submitted customer relationships (onboarding management) and existing customer relationships (CFR) with regard to legally required documents, documentation and internal requirements
  • Conducting KYC/KYT, source of wealth and source of funds checks and identifying possible atypical transactions/activities
  • Documentation of information on customers, including web research and adverse media screenings
  • Identification of possible relevant risks (geographical, reputational, industries, etc.) including possible “red flags” and deriving mitigating measures
  • Implementation of the ability to identify and escalate suspicious or non-compliant activities in order to develop and present a professional conclusion/recommendation as a result of a holistic view/analysis
  • Implementation of the bank’s FCC framework for compliance with the regulations for combating financial crime in the bank.
  • Living risk awareness taking into account the topics that play a role in the 1st and 2nd LoD areas
  • Supporting front office employees with regard to KYC-relevant topics (content, process and tool) as part of the onboarding/prospecting phase or during ongoing audits
  • Supporting the offboarding process
  • Banking training (m/f/d) or a degree in finance, economics, law or similar
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in processing KYC analyses (KYC/KYT) or in comparable areas in the financial sector
  • Basic knowledge and experience in the area of ​​regulatory requirements (GwG, reports/queries BZSt, account records center, KYC, etc.)
  • Experience and understanding in the area of ​​(private) banking and the products/services
  • Ability to operate in an international group with different regulations and cultures
  • High flexibility, commitment and resilience
