United Arab Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (Business Analyst, Wholesale Banking (Outsource)) according to the following:

The business analyst will be responsible for creating & maintaining Wholesale Banking analytics DWH to perform data management, handle projects & transformation to complete all the Regulatory / WB / Bank initiated changes and also support the line manager in implementation of new processes/templates & process redesigning.

Create an analytics data mart for Wholesale Banking which is not limited to raw data from bank systems and surrounding ecosystem but also contains KPI's and calculated business metrics by applying data processing and transformations.

By leveraging this analytics data mart, creating different MIS/Decks to track business performance through customer portfolio, coverage, product and segment profitability, P&L, reconciliation decks.

Take full responsibility of creation of Wholesale Banking analytics data mart

Calculate account level revenue and risk cost and then roll up at customer level to get full 360 view of the customer and make strategic decision according to profitability

Develop and share automated reports/decks (ie: Portfolio, Product/segment profitability, P&L decks) for Wholesale Banking Coverage & Product with key customer and product insights on a regular basis

Automate reporting by creating dashboards and reports in visualization tools like Tableau

Collaborate with IT to understand existing data sources from the systems, and create requirements for capturing additional data sources that will come from new digital/non-digital initiatives

Accountable for delegated module and related activities

Work with closely with line manager, understand the requirements & plans and prepare project plan before diving forward with relevant business stakeholders for required information

Meeting TAT and SLA as applicable and advised

Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, engineering or a similar field.

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).

3-5 years of previous experience in a banking with similar responsibilities.

Experience of Data Mart and MIS creation using visualization tools.
