Arab Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job in UAE (IT- Senior Systems Administrator) according to the following:

• Ensure adherence to related PnPs & prompt closure to Audit findings
• Ensure IT services continuity and efficient AS/400 support to all units. 
• Develop documentation ex. operating manuals for AS/400 systems
• Contribute in the development of IT projects
• Provide adequate training, and awareness to achieve optimal performance from HUBs and all ITC’s
• Adopt technical and security controls.
• Monitor systems performance 
• AS400 platforms OS upgrades and PTFs installations.
• Systems performance and tuning.
• Mentor and provide technical supervision for other administrators in related field.
• Ensure abidance with system administration standards to ensure most efficient and reliable environmental aspects of operating systems and databases including recoverability, integrity, security, availability, performance, software upgrades and maintenance, software distribution.
• Contribute to the implementation of projects and initiatives related to IT systems administration in line with the industry best practices and Risk and Regulatory requirements, and Identify best practice solutions (H/W,S/W) to automate / enhance systems administration procedures, or to resolve audit findings.
• Research/Suggest/direct implementations of solutions to remotely monitor/administer global administration functions.
• Develop and update operating and control manuals for related IT systems and ensure adequate training
• Provide first / second line of technical support and expertise to different group entities for all AS/400 systems and dependent solutions where applicable and needed
• Participate in the development of IT PnPs
• Adherence and compliance to all IT PnPs and work actively to close all related audit findings 
• Development of standard scripts per system platform to automate daily/periodic administration or diagnostics procedures
• Responsible for AS/400 reporting tools and using standard management systems and compliance systems to proactively identify system administration gaps and issues.
• Coordinate with external vendors to ensure servers and related equipment are always working in healthy conditions.
• Initiate and lead troubleshooting with external third parties and IT.
• Lead and manage systems implementation with external third parties and IT.
• Manage, supervise and participate in systems security & tuning.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/ Science or any other technical discipline from a recognized university.
• 6+ years of experience in a related job function.
