- Responsible for providing the strategic direction for IT Infrastructure, Network and Security Operations function on bank wide level.
- Assesses the relative impact of IT industry trends to current and future bank's infrastructure needs and projects.
- Interface with business unit heads and other IT functional areas to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leads the development of infrastructure strategy, architecture, service delivery standards and procedures for the bank. Participates in IT strategy planning activities, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of infrastructure technology and systems and best practices (e.g. ITIL) as related to the needs of the business.
- Proactively researches and recommends courses of action to prevent problems and to maintain high infrastructure service levels for the user community.
- Analyses and predicts trends and develops long-range plan design to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness of the bank's IT infrastructure.
- Bachelor's and/or master's in information technology/computer science.
- 15 years' experience in Infrastructure, Network and Security operations in medium to large financial service organization or Bank.
- Minimum 5 years in Managerial role.
- Training in Leadership/Coaching/Management.
- Certifications in IT service management, system administration and security eg: ITIL, MCSE, CCNA
- Business continuity and project management training are good to have.
- Effective communication skills in English and Arabic.
