- The job is responsible for assisting in fraud management activities other than investigations – Fraud Monitoring and Fraud Risk Oversight.
- The role holder is expected to assist the manager in creation and implementation of FP&I analytics, detection systems and technology strategies in order to ensure the availability of an effective fraud management framework and support the organization’s overall fraud risk profile.
- The role holder will be responsible to assist the team in developing tools/reports for fraud monitoring, proactively participate in identification and remediation of high fraud risk areas, and contribute to new projects and initiatives in fraud prevention.
- Development of rules & scenarios capable of effectively detecting and preventing frauds
- Ideation, conceptualization & definition of new rules & scenarios
- Measure performance, monitor and optimize the quality of rules/scenarios based on reports/feedbacks/recommendations from other teams.
- Continuous optimization of rules/scenarios to maximize the hit rate.
- Professional qualification with Bachelor degree in computer Science/IT, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Statistics. Certification in SAS platform is an advantage.
- More than 3 years of professionally verifiable experience in fraud management and analytics technologies in a financial institution.
- Basic knowledge of modelling/profiling techniques and databases reporting.
- Advance SAS/SQL programming.
- Experience in conducting large data analysis; writing fraud detection system rules and creating multi product fraud management strategies.
- Knowledge of Banking payment processes, transactional processes, fraud risks and mitigation strategies
- Knowledge of fraud risk management tools (For example: decision engines, risk and behavioral scoring)
- Microsoft Office(word; advanced excel and PowerPoint).
