- Manage regulatory reporting team based in Frankfurt, covering the the delivery of all reporting requirements in a timely and accurate reporting for all legal entities domiciled in Germany
- Oversee all regulatory reporting production and oversight activities
- Maintain a strong control environment to meet Citi internal and external regulatory requirements
- Lead the local regulatory reporting team for Germany Controllers.
- Ensuring timely and accurate local regulatory reporting for Germany entities.
- Daily coordination with the service centre in Budapest supporting local German regulatory group
- Ensure overall efficient and targeted reporting, identify process improvements & drive re-engineering initiatives
- Bachelors’ degree from Finance or Accounting
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent financial background
- MBA or Professional Degree is an advantage
- Strong ability to negotiate and influence
- Ability to develop innovative, yet pragmatic solutions and approaches that "fit" the environment
- Information gathering, organization & analytics
- Analytical thinking
- Team player and very good interactive communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and management skills are essential
- A pro-active decision maker who has the ability to champion Finance initiatives to successful conclusion
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven management skills, preferably in a similar complex organization
- In depth knowledge of Regulatory reporting requirements as well as applicable regulation i.e., CRR, CRR2 and Basel Accords
- Experience in dealing with regulators i.e. BaFin, Bundesbank, ECB, SRB as well as external auditors
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Very good analytical and technical skills
- Fluent in English in both speech and writing, fluency in German is an advantage
- Practical experience with Finance processes
- Understanding of US and local accounting principles
- Multinational experience would be an advantage.
