United Arab Bank announced, through its Linkedin account, a bank job Senior Manager, Support Functions (Internal Audit) according to the following
- Conducts audits related to support functions (and other audit entities as assigned) in accordance with the objectives laid down in the annual pan and ensure that the work program is completed in an efficient and effective manner.
- Support preparation of Annual Risk Based Audit Plans for assigned areas/product specialization.
- Perform semi-annual risk assessments of audit entities.
- Perform risk-based audits, investigations, and consultancy assignments.
- Prepare audit reports and ensure completeness of documentation on Teammate.
- Perform continuous auditing of assigned areas/ product specialization.
- Work with management on plans to mitigate risk.
- Participate in preparation of Board and Management committees’ presentations.
- Conduct periodic follow up exercise and review closure of open observations.
- Mentor and train junior staff on best practices and enhance their skills in conducting audit assignments.
- Display UAB values of ‘Efficiency, Excellence and Experience’.
- University graduate in commerce or finance
- Internationally recognized accounting/auditing qualification: ACA, CPA, CIA, CISA, etc.
- Preferred: Member of IIA or similar International Standards association.
- 10+ years internal/external auditing experience in the Financial Services industry
- 8+ years’ experience in banking Internal Audit.
- Good Banking experience with general experience in financial services risk management and business operations.
